My path to accounting wasn’t direct.

I began my professional career in the military and, after my service, returned to school, where I discovered my love for numbers and business. That led me to pursue a degree in accounting.

That foundation brought me into public accounting, where I worked in audit for several years and earned my CPA designation before moving into accounting and finance at a large multinational company.

That experience gave me a front-row seat to how strong organizations approach their finances: proactively, strategically, and with disciplined review processes built around real data.

But most small business owners don’t get that.

Too often, they’re stuck with accountants who only show up at tax time. That isn’t a partnership — that’s just cleanup.
